Brenda Aamodt of Spring Valley is the lucky winner of a Rivers Edge tree stand at the Herald's booth at the Pierce County Fair. She was excited because she plans to have her husband place the stand in their woods so she can quietly photograph wildlife. To win after only registering one time was really something for Aamodt; the only thing in the past she ever won was a pound of cheese in high school.1 / 2
Colten Hines of Hager City, an eighth grade student at Ellsworth High School this year, won the Primos hunting blind. Hines said it was the first time he has won anything and only registered one time. He hunts deer and small game, and is excited to get in the woods. Jason Linder of Stockholm won the camouflage sweatshirt, but was unavailable for a photo at this time. Appreciation goes to The Outdoor Store, Ellsworth, for providing the outdoor items.
