Organizers of the 130th Pierce County Fair couldn't have asked for better day of weather to draw the large crowds to the Fairgrounds in Ellsworth Saturday.

Parking lots were full for much of the day, especially for annual Ellsworth Funster Demolition Derby which once again packed the Granstand with over 3,000 fans and had thousands of dollars worth of prize money.

The spell of good weather was broken by Sunday morning rain but forecasts indicate the weather will clear up for the final day of the fair's 2013 run.

Today is Salute to Veterans Day where all Veterans receive free admission. A veterans ceremony will be held in the picnic shelter at noon.

Also on tap for the final day of the fair in entertainment is Ozseeker the Clown, comic ventriloquist James Wedgewood and the Colleen Raye Family Show will have performances at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
