The meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 26, which is also the evening for the meet-and-greet pizza dinner for all new and old members to chat about the coming garden year, and to learn about and sign up for the coming year's volunteer activities. The dinner and meeting will be at the Unitarian Society Church, N8010 Hwy. 65, southeast of River Falls.

Doering's presentation will include some cool new items and recent introductions of plants to the market, and show how they are especially good for combo planters. Container gardening is always a favorite topic and Doering will show color combos that look great in planters or combinations, and use of planters in the landscape.

The dinner will start at 6 p.m. Doering's presentation and the meeting will start at 6:45 p.m. The public is invited.
