Gary Sears, 60

Gary Donald Sears, 60 of Ellsworth, Wis., passed away peacefully in his home with his family by his side on, Sept. 12, after a long battle of cancer.

He was born on Oct. 4, 1952, to the late Donald & Eldora (Schinke) Sears. Gary graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1970. He grew up farming and spent his entire life working on the family farm in Pierce County.

In 1978, he married Debbie Sebion, from Spring Valley, Wis. They were happily married for 35 years and resided in their farm home in Ellsworth. His passions were farming with his family, driving around the country looking at various farms and fields, going to automobile and farm auctions with his dad and brothers, taking vacations with his wife and spending time with his 2 children and 5 grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Debbie Sears; son Chad (Melissa) Sears, son Nathan (Jill) Sears; grandchildren include: Katelynn, Cameron, Lydia, Linnea and Levi Sears all from Ellsworth. Siblings include Joanne (Don) Davidson, Orono, Minn., Dale (Kathy) Sears, Ellsworth, Kevin Sears-Bay City, Wis.; and several nephews and nieces.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

Services for Gary will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, N6450 530th St., Beldenville, WI. Burial will be in the Eidsvold Lutheran Cemetery, Esdaile, Wis. Visitation will be at the Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. and for one hour prior to the funeral at the church on Thursday.
