Gopher men's hoops shrivel up in second half vs. OSU

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Deshaun Thomas led all players with 19 points and No. 18 ranked Ohio State forced 24 turnovers en route to cruising past the slumping Minnesota Golden Gophers, 71-45, on Wednesday at the Schottenstein Center.

Andre Hollins paced Minnesota with 11 points and eight rebounds and Oto Osenieks had 10 points and five boards for the Golden Gophers (18-9, 6-8), who have lost two straight and eight of their last 11 games overall following a 15-1 start to the season.

It doesn't get any easier for the U as they host No. 1 ranked Indiana Saturday at Williams Arena.
