Gordon H. Lindorff, 79
Gordon H. Lindorff, 79, of Hager City, Wis., died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2007, at his home.
Gordon "Gordy" H. Lindorff was born July 21, 1928, in Scott County, Minn., the son of Albert B. and Marie (Tyreman) Lindorff. Gordon served in the U.S. Army from Nov. 27, 1950, to Aug. 26, 1953.
He was preceded in death by wife, Shirley, four brothers and four sisters.
Gordy is survived by stepsons, Dale and William Smith; brothers, Wilmer of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Everett of Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Ester of Longview, Wash.; Georgia of Seattle, Wash.; and Dorothy of Faribault, Minn.; and many nieces and nephews.
Gordy had been a chef at many fine restaurants but he retired after 30 years from the Steamboat Inn in Prescott, Wis.
A memorial service will be held at Joy Lutheran Church, 1435 St. Croix St., Prescott, at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 5.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local humane society in Gordon's name.
