Highway 10 upgrade plan meeting next Tuesday
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss possible roadway improvements on Hwy. 10 from its east junction with Hwy. 63 to Beulah Street, including the Piety Street intersection.
The meeting is scheduled for August 19 from 5-7 p.m. at the Ellsworth High School Cafeteria, 323 W. Hillcrest St., Ellsworth.
Plans are currently being developed to improve safety at the Hwy. 10/Piety Street intersection and upgrade the deteriorating pavement on three miles of 10 between Beulah Street and its east junction with 63.
The proposed improvements include the addition of a right turn lane at Piety Street and replacing the deteriorating pavement on 10. Final project plans are expected to be completed by September 2015.
