His government, then God called new Ellsworth priest
His government, then God called Witucki
By Bill Kirk
It was while Father Roy Witucki was previously in government service that a couple of events in his life led him to the priesthood.
Working for the inspector general's office in Atlanta, he began listening to evangelicals there, Witucki said Wednesday. And when he was offered an "early out" of his job at age 52, he accepted it--on the last day.
"I'd been away from God for 30 years," he said.
