Hudson bridge jumper IDed as River Falls woman
HUDSON - The St. Croix County Sheriff's Department reported that the person who jumper from the Hudson bridge Thursday has been identified as a 48-year-old Molly Crumley of River Falls.
Witnesses reported that the woman stopped her vehicle on the eastbound shoulder of the bridge, about 100 yards west of the Wisconsin shoreline, leaving her 11-year-old daughter in the vehicle. The woman then climbed the railing and jumped to her death. A chaplain had been requested to come to the scene to meet with that individual. A chaplain was called to the scene to meet with the daughter.
The identity of the woman was withheld until family members were notified. The department said the child is now being cared for by other family members in Wisconsin.

Washington County (Minn.) also sent a dive team to the location, but the body was removed from the ice by a Washington County air boat. Others responding to the scene included the Minnesota and Wisconsin State Patrols, Hudson Police Department, Lower St. Croix Valley Fire and EMS and the DNR.
