James D. "Jim" Jines, 63
James "Jim" David Jines, 63, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, March 10, at the University of Missouri Hospital & Clinics in Columbia.
He was born Nov. 13, 1950, in Humboldt, Tenn., a son of the late Evelyn G. Jines. On Aug. 20, 1993, James was united in marriage in Ellsworth, Wis., to Barbara Fick, who survives at their home.
James did farm work for Donny Rohl, and also worked for Treasure Island until 2003. He currently worked for Command Web, where he has worked since 2003. He enjoyed NASCAR Races on Sunday, and was a huge Dale Earnhardt, Jr., fan. He also loved collecting various things.
Along with his wife Barb, James is also survived by two daughters: Charolette Fick of Ellsworth, Wis., and Tina Cady (husband Dennis) of Jefferson City; one brother: Johnny Pulley (wife Lori) of the State of Georgia; six grandchildren: Michael Cook (wife Alicia), Johnathon Cook, Logan Hass, Tucker Cady, Joshua Cady (wife Marie), Margie Cady (husband Jeff); six great-grandchildren: Laylah, Addison, Genevieve, Nathan, Kyle, and Cameron; one niece; one nephew; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m. Thursday, March 13, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Longview Cemetery.
