John Frank Most, 94
John Frank Most, age 94, of Prescott, Wis., passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, Dec. 14.
Born May 3, 1919, to Mathilda and John Most, Sr. John attended 2 years at Milwaukee School of Engineering. He followed up working in Michigan as a welder. From there he served in the U.S. Coast Guard for 4 years and was a World War II veteran. He married Virginia C. Williams in 1948. He came back from the service and worked for 3M (supervisor for maintenance at Chemolite) for 31 years. John retired in 1983.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia "Sis"; son Steven; parents; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; and many friends.
Survived by daughter, Lynda Hudak (Butch Schaffer); sons Randy (Susan) Most, and Robert (Kim) Most; 8 grandchildren, Mark (Jen) Hudak, Mike (Missy) Hudak, Timmy Hudak (Michelle), Matt (Jessica) Most, Johnny (Reina) Most, Steven Most, Natalie and Jason Most; seven great-grandchildren; brother, George; nieces; nephews; other loving relatives and friends.
John's passion in life was spending time at the cabin, fishing, hunting, playing cards, and being with family and friends.
Memorial Mass 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 269 Dakota St. S., Prescott, WI 54021. Visitation 2 hours prior at the church. Private burial will be at a later date.
