Kind to hold telephone town hall meeting Tuesday night
Saying that the country is facing trying times, U.S. Rep. Ron Kind, D-Wis., announced that he will be holding a live call-in town hall meeting on Tuesday from 7-8 p.m.
"These are trying times for our country, and Congress is poised to act on legislation that will work to get our economy back on track and help families who are struggling," said Kind.
The meeting will focus on issues coming before Congress and the Obama administration, including the economy and health care.
Kind says that a telephone town hall meeting allows him to get input from across the Third Congressional District and not just one location.
District residents can participate in the meeting by calling 877.229.8493, and then entering the code 13433.
The Third Congressional District covers much of western Wisconsin including St. Croix, Pierce, Dunn, Pepin and Chippewa counties.
