Lakers roll over Timberwolves

Kobe Bryant scored 24 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 90-79 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves last night in Minneapolis.

Four Lakers finished in double figures in scoring as the Lakers won for the fifth straight time following the All Star break. The Wolves were led in scoring by rookie Wes Johnson's 20 points, Minnesota forward Kevin Love extended his team record double double streak to 47 games after scoring 13 points and grabbing 11 rebounds. Love will look to make it 48 consecutive games tonight when the Wolves head to Detroit to take on the Pistons. Tip is set for 6:30pm.
