Land sale approved by Prescott School Board

PRESCOTT--A potential land sale was considered by the Prescott School Board Wednesday.

Superintendent Roger Hulne previewed the district's annual meeting agenda with the board. Discussion was held and it was later noted any sale or purchase of school land would need to be acted upon at an annual meeting, with either a sale being bid out or negotiations for a purchase to follow.

School officials had met with representatives of the City of Prescott to discuss the possible purchase of the school property. The city reps supported buying the entire 112 acres within city limits and were open to possible future joint efforts.
