TO THE EDITOR: NAMI news: The family to family class and the peer to peer class is done for the year.

This was a success for the people who did it. The support group will continue every other week at 6:30 p.m. at Luther Memorial Church in River Falls.

In Our Own Voice (I.O.O.V.) gave a presentation at Plum City, River Falls, Prescott and Baldwin-Woodville high schools, as well as a presentation at a River Falls college class.

S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) commonly occurs in the winter. Causes are less sunlight, people missing from holidays, divorces, single parent and children living with blended families.

Solutions: read up, exercise, have something you enjoy doing, sun lamps, support groups, church, doing things with your friends and singles groups. In other words, structure, call somebody, do something to help other people, that then can help yourself.

The Suicide Prevention Hotline number is 1-800-273-TALK (8255).

I think perhaps the people doing this should go to church and confess their sins and ask for prayer. The Hartland Methodist Church has two services, one at 8:30 a.m. and the other at 10 a.m. There are other churches also.

Joke for the day: How many Norwegians does it take to milk a cow? If you said 15, you are right. Four to hold onto the handles and 11 more to move the cow up and down.

Think about it.
