Letter: Stop smoking to be healthy country, she says
TO THE EDITOR:
I am writing this letter because I would like to address the smoke problem we have in Ellsworth.
It's hard to be a kid and deal with the second-hand smoke that's killing our lungs. When you're young, you're pretty much powerless. Also, many people are dying each year from lung disease.
We need to stop this problem so we can be a healthy country. It's not just in Wisconsin, it's everywhere. I hope you address this problem soon or more people will suffer. My parents are quitting smoking because of the prices.
Why would you even want to consider smoking? Please take this and consider it. We want to be a smoke free country, so let's stop it now.
