EL PASO--The people of El Paso know them personally and many others have heard of them.

They're Arby and Lin Linder. He has a national chain of restaurants named after him and likewise for her with a number of greenhouses in the Twin Cities, right?

No, their fame is on a more local level, but their contributions are notable, nonetheless. So much so, the Martell couple will serve as grand marshals for this year's El Paso Days parade on Sunday, Aug. 18, at 2 p.m. in the rural community northeast of Ellsworth. In fact, their notoriety is extensive enough they've also previously been honorary citizens for the celebration.

Both are a good fit for the 2013 festivities, saluting the Eau Galle-Rush River Sportsmen's Club. Watch for more information in the print version of the Herald.
