Llamas to be displayed at Open Barn Oct. 16-17
Come and see the llamas at an Open Barn Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 16-17, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at Trimbelle Valley Fiber Farm, owned by Patty and Brian Patterson, W8490 530th Ave., west of Ellsworth near Hwy. 10.
Photographer, tack, spinners, llama fiber, roving and yarn will be for sale, as will photography and homemade crafts. There will be a bake sale (Pierce County 4-H Llama Project), too.
The Pattersons have been raising show quality llamas since 2000. They strive for conformational correctness with a calm disposition in all of their llamas, which any family member would appreciate, no matter what their age. They are breeding quality llamas for the best fiber, with a focus on luster and the silkiest fiber. They strive for the health and well-being of the llamas.
Their mission is to teach, train and support other families along their journey of understanding llamas.
They have raised their family to share their llama passion with other families in the community, state and throughout the country. Their family is heavily involved in local and national activities, such as 4-H and other show associations.
