Lyle "Bud" Larson, 77

Lyle "Bud" Vernon Larson passed away Monday, Dec. 16.

Lyle was born in Salem Township, Pierce County, Wis., on Jan. 1, 1936, the son of Arthur R. Larson and Anna Ebensperger Larson. 1936 was the winter of record snow and cold, Lyle's father went after the doctor with his team and sleigh. He enlisted in the Navy Jan. 15, 1957. He was in the Navy Sea Bees and stationed in Guam and Alaska. His favorite time in the service was Kodiak, Alaska treking through the bear trails to fish. Lyle was Honorably discharged January 13, 1961, and had attained an E-5 rank.

Lyle is survived by his wife, Grace; and way too many others to list and he loved them all.

A Celebration Of Lyle's Life will be held at Stevenson's Funeral Home in Forsyth, on Saturday, Dec. 21. His urn will be buried with Military Honors next to his step-daughter, Robin, at the Murray Memorial Cemetery, Lonepine, Mont.

In the Spring there will be a celebration of life at the Legion Hall in Maiden Rock for his many friends and family members.
