Lynx down Shock 93-82 in afternoon game
MINNEAPOLIS (SportsNetwork.com) - Maya Moore scored 32 points, including 18 in the second half as the Minnesota Lynx pulled away for a 93-82 win over the Tulsa Shock on Wednesday afternoon at Target Center.
Moore added nine rebounds and five assists for the Lynx, who stretched a 40-39 halftime lead to double digits near the end of the third quarter on the way to their fourth straight win. Damiris Dantas scored the last three points of a 9-0 run in the quarter and finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds for Minnesota.
Skylar Diggins scored 19 points to lead Tulsa and Glory Johnson and Courtney Paris both posted double-doubles. The last-place Shock have dropped five games in a row and eight of their last nine.
