The Friends of Freedom Park is pleased to announce an exciting program entitled “Majestic Eagles” to be held at the Great River Road Visitor and Learning Center (200 Monroe St., Prescott) on Sunday, February 16 from 2-3 p.m.  Exciting history and culture programs are available year-round at the Center through generous sponsorship from the Prescott Foundation, Nelson Family Foundation, Gertrude R. Stan Tekiela, renowned naturalist and local author, will introduce guests to the beauty and majesty of eagles through a slideshow presentation featuring his incredible photographs.  Mr. Tekiela is the author of numerous field guides and nature books and he will be on hand to answer questions and autograph his books after the program.  More biographical information on Mr. Tekiela can be found at www.naturesmart.com

The Friends of Freedom Park, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, supports the operations and educational programs of the Great River Road Learning Center (200 Monroe St., Prescott, WI 54021) through membership, volunteer recruitment and fundraising.
