McDonald's comes to Ellsworth

Breanna Horstmann, Kenny Stowe and Max Kuehn, along with friend Nicole Olson, camped out Wednesday evening until the 5 a.m. Thursday morning opening of McDonald's with a goal of being the first ones through the door of the new restaurant in Ellsworth. Dick DeCosta of Ellsworth was one of the first people to bring a food order through the line at the new local McDonald’s Restaurant Tuesday. DeCosta is a member of Kinne-Engelhart American Legion Post 204, which sold the former Army Reserve Center site to Dan Acker for the business development.4 / 5
Ellsworth Chamber of Commerce members and Village of Ellsworth officials joined representatives of Courtesy Corporation, operator of the new McDonald’s Restaurant in Ellsworth, for a ribbon-cutting there Tuesday.
