PIERCE COUNTY HUMAN SERVICES BOARD meeting on Thursday, April 9, has been cancelled. The next meeting of the board will be held on Thursday, May 14, at 6 p.m. in the Lower Level Lunch Room of the Pierce County Office Building, 412 W. Kinne St., Ellsworth.

RIVER FALLS IMMUNIZATION CLINIC Pierce County Public Health Service's monthly River Falls immunization clinic will be held on Tuesday,  April 7, from 3 to 5 p.m. at 174 S. Riverwalk (lower level of the Edina Realty building - entrance behind the building). A consent form must be signed by the parent or legal guardian.  If a child must be sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend), signed written permission must be provided for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day. Donations are received at all clinic sites. Contributions help assure the continuation of this valuable service in Pierce County. Make sure the entire family is fully protected.  With any questions about this important program, call a doctor or the Public Health Department at 273-6755.

PLUM CITY IMMUNIZATION CLINIC Pierce County Public Health Service's monthly Plum City immunization clinic will be held on Thursday, April 9, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Pierce County Public Health Office at 408 Main St. A consent form must be signed by the parent or legal guardian. If a child must be sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend), signed written permission must be provided for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day. THE TOWN OF TRIMBELLE monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 14, at 6 p.m. in the town hall. Agenda posted. The annual meeting will be at 7 p.m. following the monthly meeting.

THE MARTELL TOWN BOARD will meet on Thursday, April 9, at 7 a.m. starting at the town shop located at W5344 US Hwy 63, to do a road tour of the town roads.

HARTLAND TOWN PLAN COMMISSION meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. at the Hartland Town Garage. Agenda: Finalize Housing Chapter, Discuss Transportation, Begin Discussion of Community Facilities and Utilities, and other items that may come before the commission, Adjournment.

THE TOWN OF MARTELL will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m. at the Martell Town Hall. Agenda: open meeting, approve minutes from previous meeting, approve the treasurer's report. Old business: discuss road work. New business: Friends of the School House and set a Public Hearing for May 12, action to residents that didn't respond to the dog letter that was sent out, approve Financial C, approve driveway permits, employees report, pay bills, read correspondence, set date for next meeting, anything else to come before the board, adjourn meeting. THE ELLSWORTH COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT Board of Education clerk and board canvassers will meet at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, in the district office conference room to canvass the April 7 Spring Board Member Election.

THE PERSONNEL AND NEGOTIATIONS COMMITTEE of the Ellsworth Community School District Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. on Monday, April 6, in the district office conference room. The Agenda: Personnel Negotiations, Employee Health Insurance Plan. A quorum of the board may be present.

THE ELLSWORTH COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT Board of Education will conduct a special school board meeting in the Senior High School Library at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 6. The Agenda: OLD BUSINESS-ACTION: Approval of open enrollment applications for the 2009-2010 school year. The meeting will adjourn to closed session as authorized by State Statute 19.85 (1)(c)&(f) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility and to give preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems.
