MASTER GARDENERS will hear Heidi Doering, Master Gardener and plant manager with Syngenta, discuss colorful groupings of plants to include in mixed combination planters at the Thursday, April 23, meeting at the River Falls Public Library starting at 6:45 p.m., with the speaker at 7:15 p.m.

ELLSWORTH IMMUNIZATION CLINIC Pierce County Public Health Service's monthly Ellsworth immunization clinic will be held on Wednesday, April 29, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Pierce County Office Building at 412 W. Kinne St., Ellsworth. A consent form must be signed by the parent or legal guardian.  If a child must be sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend), signed written permission must be provided for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day. Donations are received at all clinic sites. Contributions help assure the continuation of this valuable service in Pierce County. Make sure the entire family is fully protected.  With any questions about this important program, call a doctor or the Public Health Department at 273-6755.

ELLSWORTH AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE Member Meeting will be Thursday, April 23, at noon at Hancock Lodge 229, 400 High Point Dr. Speaker will be Dan Washburn of Pamida. The meal will be catered by Hinck's Economart. Members planning to attend are asked to RSVP by Wednesday, April 22.
