RIVER FALLS IMMUNIZATION CLINIC Pierce County Public Health Service's monthly River Falls immunization clinic will be held on Tuesday, May 5, from 3 to 5 p.m. at 174 S. Riverwalk (lower level of the Edina Realty building - entrance behind the building). A consent form must be signed by the parent or legal guardian. If a child must be sent with someone other than a parent (i.e., grandparent, babysitter, friend), signed written permission must be provided for the specific immunization(s) to be given that day. Donations are received at all clinic sites. Contributions help assure the continuation of this valuable service in Pierce County. Make sure the entire family is fully protected. THE SALEM PLAN COMMISSION will hold an open house on Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Salem Town Hall. The purpose of the open house is to solicit comments and distribute information regarding draft elements of the Town's Comprehensive Plan.

DENTAL CLINIC FOR PIERCE COUNTY CHILDREN The Pierce County Public Health Department offers a preventive dental clinic twice a month for residents age 2-18. This preventive dental checkup may include a dental exam, cleaning, fluoride treatments, X-rays and sealants. Medical Assistance (MA) will cover the cost of the dental appointment for eligible clients and those persons on Badger Care and Healthy Start. A sliding fee scale is available for families whose income is 185 percent or less poverty (example: $3,269/month for a family of four).
