ELLSWORTH SCHOOL BOARD The Ellsworth Community School District Board of Education will meet in the High School Library at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 11. The agenda: OLD BUSINESS - ACTION: Approval of the July 14 Board meeting minutes and July 28 Board minutes. Approval of the District Financial Report and Payment of Bills for June and July. NEW BUSINESS-ACTION: Materials for the annual meeting, Personnel hires and resignations, Four year old kindergarten enrollment and personnel. NEW BUSINESS-DISCUSSION: Review of data retreat, EXCELLS grants for 2008-2009 school year, Secondary school counselor grant, 2008-2009 school board goal statements. The meeting will adjourn to closed session as authorized by State Statute 19.85 (1)(c)&(f) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility and to give preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems. The school board will return to open session and take action on closed session items if necessary.

TOWN OF MARTELL The next regular monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 12, at the Martell Town Hall at 7 p.m. Open Meeting: approve minutes from previous meetings and the two special meetings, approve treasurer's report. Look Good Feel Better is a program designed to help women overcome the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatments. The sessions are the first Monday of the month on alternating months at the River Falls Area Hospital (the first classroom on the left coming in the front entrance).
