Miller a finalist for Rock County administrator
The Beloit Daily News reported Tuesday Pierce County Administrative Coordinator JoAnn Miller is one of three finalists for the Rock County Administrator position.
The paper reports the other two are Mark Mader, currently chief of staff for Waukesha County and Joshua Smith, special assistant to the State Auditor for the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau.
The three are hoping to replace current Administrator Craig Knutson, who is retiring on August 2. Knutson had been the administrator for more than 30 years.
The paper said the finalists will have one more interview with a staff committee on May 16, with the full County Board approving the candidate June 12.
Miller is a northern Illinois native, not far from where Rock County is, as it’s located along the border with Illinois. Janesville is the county seat for Rock County.
