Millicent M. Stockwell, 77
Millicent M. Stockwell, 77, died at St. Brigid's at High Park, Red Wing, MN on Thursday, July 2, 2009. She was born at home in Pierce Co., Wisconsin, to Milton and Ruth (Glaus) Hulverson on June 23, 1932. She attended country grade schools in Pierce Co. and graduated from Ellsworth High School.
Millie married Edward E. Stockwell on September 11, 1951, and lived in Montana for three years. They returned to Wisconsin and lived in Esdaile, WI, for 50 years. She lived at St. Brigid's at High Park for the last 2-1/2 years.
She worked at Joston's Diploma in Red Wing, MN, for 33-1/2 years, retiring in 1995.
Millie is survived by daughters Marian and Arlene Stockwell, grandchildren Bridgett, Brian and Corinne Stockwell and great grandchildren Taiah and Kirah Stockwell, all of Red Wing, and sister Janet (Francis) Hager of Bay City, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward, daughter Connie Stockwell and brother Robert (Nancy) Hulverson.
Visitation was at Hill Funeral Home, Ellsworth, WI, on Sunday evening, July 5, from 5-7 p.m. Funeral mass was on Monday, July 6, at St. Francis Catholic Church, Ellsworth, WI, at 11 a.m. with one hour visitation at the church prior to the service. Burial was at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Plum City, WI.
