Milwaukee Mile set for this Saturday
Ellsworth Wisconsin 126 S. Chestnut St. 54011

MILWAUKEE - The IZOD Indy-Car drivers are heading to Milwaukee for Saturday's 250-mile Indy-Fest race at State Fair Park.

Ryan Hunter-Reay won last year's race - and then won three more races to become the first American since 2006 to win the season title. This year, Hunter-Reay is third in the standings, behind Marco Andretti and first-place Helio Castroneves.

This is the second year of the current version of the Milwaukee event. Michael Andretti convinced the Indy-Car circuit to bring back a race at the Milwaukee Mile. It's part of a racing festival that begins on Thursday evening in downtown Milwaukee that includes driver appearances, a car show, and music. The track also has a fan village that will be open on Friday and Saturday.
