Minnesota News Roundup: Carjacking fugitive identified and charged
Police say a 39-year-old fugitive went on a crime spree that lasted two days. Brandon Stark is accused of three carjackings, two kidnappings and crashing one of the stolen vehicles. Authorities say the spree begun in St. Paul on Wednesday, when Stark allegedly stole a vehicle from a grocery store employee at knife point, then drove the car to Minneapolis - where the employee was let go. Authorities say Stark allegedly took another car on Thursday, but Minneapolis police chased him until he crashed the car. Stark faces first-degree aggravated robbery, second-degree assault and fleeing an officer. He was also wanted on a parole violation.
