There is still no sign of a missing North Dakota State College of Science student, after days of searching along the Minnesota border.  Twenty-year-old Andrew Sadek was last seen leaving Nordgaard Hall around 2:00 a.m. on Thursday.  Investigators say air and ground searches have turned up no sign of the young man, and there has been no activity on his bank accounts.  He has not been in touch with friends or family.  Police are asking homeowners in the area to check their property for anything out of the ordinary.  They are also asking anyone that may have given a ride to a tall man with curly brown hair wearing a black and red hoodie with the word "football" on the front to get in touch.

BNSF Railway will spend a billion dollars to upgrade rail capacity in its north corridor, which includes Minnesota and North Dakota.  Both cargo shipments and passenger rail travel in Minnesota have been slowed by delays that have been caused by the oil boom in the west, and the company's website says they'll install more tracks next to the mainline to improve train traffic and passing along routes that run through Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck, and Minot.  BNSF will also upgrade to a centralized traffic control system to improve train movements between Fargo and Bismarck.

Two women were stabbed overnight while walking home from a bar in Minneapolis.  Police say a man approached them with a knife and demanded money, and even after one of the victims handed the attacker five dollars both women were stabbed.  They were taken to the hospital but police haven't said how serious their injuries may be.  The suspect ran off, and no description has been made available but investigators are hopeful that nearby surveillance cameras may have captured the attack.
