CHICAGO – University of Minnesota volleyball player Tori Dixon of Burnsville is this week's Big Ten Conference Player of the Week.

Dixon, the daughter of former Vikings lineman Dennis Dixon, helped sixth-ranked Minnesota to wins over UAB, Georgia State, and Samford over the weekend. All three victories came in a tournament in Alabama. She had 49 kills in the three matches, with double-doubles in two of three contests. This is the fourth time in her career she's been named the league's player of the week, and the first time this season.
