MINNESOTA SPORTS ROUNDUP: Twins on the road in Oakland after losing in extras to San Diego

MINNEAPOLIS -- The San Diego Padres put up a run in the ninth to tie the game and a run in the tenth inning to pull out a 5-4 win over the Twins and split of their two-game series at Target Field.  Trevor Plouffe hit a two-run homer and drove in three for Minnesota, which had won its previous three.  Glen Perkins blew his fourth save by allowing the game-tying run in the ninth, while Anthony Swarzak suffered his first loss of the year.  He allowed a long home run by Padre outfielder Seth Smit
