A year after winning the Charles Schwab Cup, Kenny Perry claims he's been searching to find his game and that he's had a rough start to the 2014 season.  All signs point to the opposite as Perry, despite launching his approach into the stands on the final hole, dropped a 15-foot birdie putt to edge a surging Bernhard Langer by a stroke Sunday to win the 3M Championship, shooting 23-under par 193 at TPC Twin Cities.  Perry had two top-10 finishes before winning his first tournament, and major, of the year in May at the Regions Tradition Championship. Coming into the 3M Championship Friday, Perry has three top-10s and two top-25s.  The victory is Perry's seventh career Champions Tour win and puts him over $1 million in earnings for the third consecutive season. Perry now moves to third in the 2014 Charles Schwab Cup standings.  Jeff Maggert, Gene Sauers and Marco Dawson finished in a tie for third place at 20-under par 196.  Tom Lehman carded a final round 70 to finish tied for 47th at 211. He recorded a pair of birdies and one bogey on the front before finishing the championship with a birdie and eight pars on the final nine holes.

The St. Paul Saints were in total control of Sunday evening's game against the Kansas City T-Bones.  That was until the sixth inning when a bases clearing double by Brian Erie gave the T-Bones a lead they wouldn't relinquish as the Saints lost 5-3 at Community America Ballpark.  The same two teams meet in the second game of a four game series on Monday evening at Community America Ballpark at 7:05 p.m.  The Saints send RHP Nick Barnese (5-6, 3.94) to the mound against T-Bones RHP Casey Barnes (2-2, 6.34).
