Nancy J. Pearson, 61
Nancy Jean Pearson, 61, of Frontenac, died unexpectedly, due to complications of a stroke, on Friday, Aug. 29, at St. Brigid's at Hi-Park.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1952, in Red Wing to Carl and Joyce (Betcher) Pearson. She graduated in 1970 from Ellsworth High School. For over 40 years she has worked at Riedell Shoes in Red Wing. Her passion was gardening; raising many vegetables. She enjoyed canning and baking bread, along with being an avid animal lover and spending time with her family.
Survivors include longtime companion, Dr. Tom Fleming of Frontenac; her father, Carl Pearson of Red Wing; two sisters, Deborah (Tom) Howard and Carla (Brent) Langer, all of Ellsworth; one brother, Scott (Barb) Pearson of Chaska; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and one infant nephew, Kade Langer.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel, with Chaplain Kelly Adelsman officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
