BROOKLYN, Mich. - Brazilian Nelson Piquet Junior claimed his first victory in the Camping World Truck Series.

Piquet edged Jason White to win the VFW 200 in Brooklyn, Michigan, Saturday. Necedah driver Johnny Sauter finished sixth.

Justin Allgaier held off Sam Hornish Jr. in a tight finish to claim the checkered flag at the NAPA Auto Parts 200 yesterday in Montreal. Elliott Sadler's fourth place finish kept him at the top of the Nationwide Series points standings. Danica Patrick led for 20 laps, but the Beloit-born racer had mechanical issues and was knocked back into a 27th-place finish.
