Email News Alerts

Construction crews have demolished the portion of the old Highway 61 bridge over downtown Hastings, Minn., and they have already begun constructing the final piece of the new bridge. All four lanes of the new bridge will open in late November to mid-December. Traffic was routed onto the new bridge two weeks ago. The rest of the old bridge will be demolished over the summer and hauled away. Photo by Chad Richardson/Hastings Star Gazette
