Prescott did very well in their first ever appearance at the Scramble. They shot a best-ball 73, good for fifth place in the 14-team small school division.

A young Ellsworth squad made up of mostly freshmen struggled in its first meet but didn't finish last. The Panthers finished with a score of 90.

The Middle Border Conference flexed its muscles yesterday, establishing itself as one of the best in the state in Division 2. New Richmond won the large school division with a score of 62 and Osceola was right behind them with a score of 63. Baldwin-Woodville was second behind Spooner in the small school division while Somerset tied for third.

Ellsworth and Prescott will be competing in meets on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week and have their first MBC meet Thursday at Pheasant Hills Golf Course hosted by Baldwin-Woodville.
