No injuries reported after train derails in Red Wing
A Canadian Pacific freight train derailed in Red Wing on Sunday morning. There were no injuries reported after 19 empty cars left the tracks near Bay Point Park before 10 a.m. Two of the cars fell off the tracks completely.
Crews are continuing to work on cleaning up the site, CP spokesman Ed Greenberg said. There is no risk to the general public and the company is able to reroute other rail traffic, he said.
