Packers and Eagles both fairly healthy into Sunday's opener
GREEN BAY - The Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles are both healthy as they get ready to open the season against each other on Sunday in Philly.
The Packers included seven players on their first injury report yesterday -but the only one who might not play is corner Brandon Underwood, with a shoulder problem. He was limited at practice yesterday, and he continues to wear a shoulder harness. Linebacker Brady Poppinga missed practice with a knee injury. He said he had swelling but it was not in a joint - and he expects to return to the field today. The other five Packers on the list fully participated in yesterday's practice - Clay Matthews, Brad Jones, Cullen Jenkins, Desmond Bishop, and rookie Bryan Bulaga.
Meanwhile, the Eagles reported no injuries. But they do have three players out for the year, and defensive end Victor Abiamiri is out for at least six weeks.
