Panther tennis team loses season opener 5-2

MONDOVI - Ellsworth High School tennis team lost its season opener Tuesday 5-2 at Mondovi. But it was a dual meet that could have easily been a 4-3 win.

While EHS lost all their doubles matches, Ellsworth saw two of their singles players, Stacie Peterson at No. 2 and Josie Gilbertson at No. 4 lose three-set tiebreakers.

Winning their matches for Ellsworth were No. 1 singles player Tiffany Weiss and Beth Olson at No. 3
