Panthers hosting Somerset to wrap up Homecoming week

Ellsworth's Homecoming week is this week highlighted by the football game 7 p.m. this Friday against Somerset. Also scheduled for the week is the coronoation, two pep fests, volleyball finals and tug-o-war.

Activities began Sunday with competitions in ultimate Frisbee, tug-o-war and volleyball. A pep fest was held Monday in which the coronation was announced and the beginning of weekly events such as the Medallion Hunt, Guess the Word and Mystery Person clues were given. Tuesday's events include hallway decorating from 3-9 p.m.

For Wednesday, which is 'costume day', the hallways will be judged and football day for boys will be held. Thursday's theme is 'class texture day' in which the seniors will wear jeans, juniors corduroy, sophomores silk and freshmen leather. The day will be a football day for girls and after school will be a punt, pass and kick competition on the football field.
