'Pickle Bill' rules to be explained March 19
Wisconsin's Act 101 (the Pickle Bill) has made it easier for some growers to expand their income by processing pickles and salsa and marketing at a local farmer's market.
On Monday, March 19, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the UW Extension Office, 1960 8th Ave. Baldwin, Food Science professor and UW-Extension specialist Barb Ingham will share information regarding the rules and regulations of Wisconsin Act 101.
If you are interested in making and selling other items such as baked goods or eggs, can you do so under the "Pickle Bill"?
In this presentation Ingham will review the rules and regulations which surround the manufacture and sale of foods in Wisconsin.
