"We're incredibly lucky to have such high quality Emergency Medical Services available to our community,” said Dr. Thomas Monahan, medical director of the RFAH Emergency Department. “Our area services are nationally recognized as some of the finest in the nation, and offer cutting edge technology, training and service to the advantage of all patients. They truly are some of the real heroes of healthcare."

A friendly bean bag competition between services was also held.

“We wanted to thank our EMS partners for their great teamwork, clinical excellence and continued dedication,” said Emergency Department Manager Karen Swenson. “This picnic was to honor their dedication and service to our communities.”
