Pierce County's Dunn-St. Croix Conference girls' basketball teams all were beaten Saturday afternoon in league play.

Plum City played the most competitive contest, losing at Boyceville 44-29. PC trailed 20-12 at halftime but the Bulldogs put the game away with a 15-5 third quarter run. PC was led in scoring by Taylor Chilson's 10 points.

Spring Valley was gouged at Glenwood City 64-29. After trailing 16-13 in the first quarter of play. Valley was held scoreless throughout the entire second quarter and trailed 32-13 at halftime. The Cardinals only scored 12 points in the second half total. Tana O'Keefe had nine points to lead SV  in scoring while the Hilltoppers had three players in double figures.

Elmwood lost at home to Elk Mound 67-20. The Raiders played on of its better first quarters on offense by scoring 10 points but were outscored 47-10 the rest of the way. Elmwood did have seven players scratch the scoring column led by Addie Morrell's five points. EM's McKenna McVey led all scorers with 22 points.

Plum City is 2-6 overall, Spring Valley 1-6 and Elmwood still looking for its first win at 0-10. These teams league records are 1-5, 1-5 and 0-7 respectively. All of their aforementioned opponents are 4-2 in league play but well behind No. 3 ranked Colfax who is 6-0 (and Mondovi who is 4-1). Plum City plays at Elmwood Tuesday while Spring Valley hosts Colfax. Tip-time is 7:30 p.m.
