Plum City School Board tells 2009-10 staff assignments
PLUM CITY -- The Plum City School Board last week approved a couple of staffing issues for the 2009-10 school year.
The board announced the technology education position will be at half-time. The family and consumer education (FACE) classes will be offered between two to three hours per day. Connie Anderson, the current FACE teacher who also taught science, is retiring at the end of the year and the board was informed other teachers will teach FACE classes next year.
The board also approved a request to offer rather than provide student insurance for next year. These actions were taken to help reduce the district's projected $280,000 shortfall for next year.
