Plum City spikers win third straight match


ALMA - The Plum City High School volleyball team defeated Alma in a non-conference match Thursday in three straight games.

The Blue Devils downed the Rivermen 25-13, 25-18 and 25-15. The match was one that was rescheduled from late August due to excessive heat.


Sarah Gilles led PC with 13 kills, four aces, and 15 digs. Setter Jillian Holt had 23 assists and alos had four aces. Cheyanne Catura had 10 kills, Elaina Danzinger had a block and Lexie Radle led the team in digs with 19.

Plum City win its third straight match to improve to 13-16 overall. The Devils host Eleva-Strum in a first round, WIAA Division 4 regional tournament game Tuesday at 7 p.m.
