On Feb. 20, the Plum City High School FFA traveled to the Second Harvest Food Shelf in Golden Valley, Minn. A total of 26 members and the advisor volunteered for a three-hour shift. In this time, they packaged around 8,800 pounds of potatoes, which equals around 6,800 meals. Second Harvest distributes these meals to many shelters and pantries in Minnesota, and in four counties in Western Wisconsin, including Pierce. Everyone enjoyed their time helping. -- Photo submitted
