The 2014 high school football season begins this Friday. Pierce County teams prepared themselves by participating in scrimmages on Friday.

Ellsworth was at Osseo-Fairchild, Spring Valley was at Clayton, Prescott was at St. Croix Central and Elmwood/Plum City hosted its own scrimmage in Elmwood. The Wolves took on Brookwood, Alma/Pepin and Blair-Taylor in a controlled setting scrimmage.

Kick-off for Friday's games is at 7 p.m. with Ellsworth at Spooner, Frederic at Elmwood/Plum City in Elmwood, Barron at Prescott and Unity at Spring Valley.
