New Richmond, Wis., man charged with kidnapping two women in Afton

Prescott boys basketball stays unbeaten in MBC

NEW RICHMOND - The Prescott High School boys' basketball team improved to 6-0 in the Middle Border Conference by beating New Richmond 62-55 Tuesday.

PHS's Clay Seifert scored 16 of his game-high 20 points in the second half. Teammate Mike Brookshaw scored 13 of his 16 points in the first half as the Cardinals took a 32-25 lead at halftime.

Also scoring in double figures for Prescott was Charlie Tayson with 10 points.

Seifert made 11-of-12 free throws and Brookshaw made three three-pointers.

Prescott's overall record is 11-2. They are at Amery on Friday.
